In 2021, GlobalVision delivered a 21,000 sq. m built-to-suit unit for HAVI, the global supply chain company that provides end-to-end services to many of the world’s best known quick service restaurant brands, within Chitila Logistics Park, an industrial & logistics project developed by GlobalVision in partnership with Globalworth.
Within this new premises, HAVI consolidated its activities from three smaller DCs, thus greatly optimizing its operations. Chitila Logistics Park was chosen for the location of HAVI’s new distribution centre greatly due to its location advantages providing easy and fast access to Bucharest city and Western & Central Romania, as the park benefits from access to the city ring road, connecting the premises with the highways network.
Delivered within 7 months, this built-to-suit unit comprises of several areas with different temperature ranges, and other interior and exterior amenities which support and optimize the daily operations. In terms of refrigeration technology, this project is a novelty for the Romanian market, as it foresees the use of glycol for cooling, a solution which is the key factor behind the outstanding reduction of CO2 emissions.
