Hospice – Casa Sperantei is a charity organization dedicated to improving the care and easing the life of terminally ill patients and their families in Romania. It is part of a larger European network of palliative care centers, and in addition to treating patients, the NGO also focuses on raising awareness and teaching hospitals and doctors on how to care for the terminally ill and giving full psychological support to patients and their families as well.
Global Vision was chosen as the project manager and consultant for the beneficiary regarding the construction of the first palliative care center in Bucharest. The project comprises 3 421.97 sq. m. over four stories and consists of eight wards with 23 beds each; there are also many treatment and physiotherapy rooms and all the facilities necessary to support the patients through these stages.
