Global Vision has started the works on the construction of the mixed-use Constanța Business Park project, near the Black Sea’s largest port.
The building site organization took place last week and shortly after we have begun the land preparation works: topsoil removing, excavation, grading, and compaction.
“It is a large project, meant to become the largest business hub in the Eastern and South-Eastern region of Romania.
We already have agreements with companies in the area of production, distribution, and logistics for spaces available in the first building, starting with the second quarter of next year.
It is of particular interest to lease logistics spaces, which reconfirms the potential of the Constanța region.
At the same time, we are in advanced negotiations with two retailers. We work together at defining the specifications and conditions of our collaboration for the commercial spaces in Constanța Business Park.
We continue to promote this project in Romania and, of course, to investors from abroad, both for the manufacturing field and for R&D”, said Șerban Juverdeanu, Head of Development of Global Vision.
Constanța Business Park is developed through our joint venture partnership with Globalworth.
The logistic development will be a trigger for building enhanced amenities for the visitors and the warehouse workforce. Planned facilities will include retail area, office, business services, restaurants, and hospitality.
“We chose to develop this project in Constanta because we can offer future tenants a number of unique advantages due to the strategic location. Constanta County benefits, first and foremost, from the best connectivity in Romania in terms of infrastructure, with easy road and railway access, as well as access to maritime and river routes. Constanța Business Park will represent in this respect the best location for the development of supply chain operations. Constanța is also the most urbanized county in Romania and it offers tenants access to the well-trained workforce”, added Mihai Zaharia, director of Investments and Capital Markets at Globalworth.
Constanța Business Park is the largest real estate project in the port city.
The first stage of its development – building 1, currently under construction, has 20,400 sq.m. warehouses and industrial halls. The first phase is scheduled for completion in Q2, 2020.
Founded in 2004, Global Vision develops, designs, builds and manages strategic real estate projects for private and institutional investors in Romania and CEE.
